Jazmin

My name is Jazmin and I am 17 years old I attend South Anchorage High school. I was born in Washington, but originally from Oregon. Me and my family have been living in Alaska almost for 11 years now and we love it up here. I like how Alaska has wildlife everywhere, even your back yard feels like you're out in the wilderness. In the summertime me and my family go camping and four-wheeling every weekend. Four-wheeling is my hobby and it really interests me. I couldn't see myself not doing it. My family also hunts for moose. I'd rather hunt than go fishing, honestly, but I do love to hooligan fish. My mother loves to go fishing in Kenai and me and my daddy love to hunt. 

When we aren't out and about on weekends we usually go to my aunt's house (Janelys mom) or go to a park. In the wintertime my family goes snowboarding about every weekend. Our family is very close and we always do things together. I assume most hispanic families are like that, but I feel like our family has a special bond. 

When I am not with family I am usually playing soccer. I love soccer I've been playing sense 8th grade on and off. I am not playing soccer I am usually watching it.  My future plans are to stay in Alaska, because I don't want to be apart from my family. I want to go to UAA and study criminal justice and eventually become a cop or state trooper.
