Naomi

HI!!!, my name is Naomi. I am 17 years old. I've lived in Alaska my whole life mostly in Anchorage and Eagle River. I'm to be a senior.  I'm super excited to be a senior this year, hopefully at Chugiak High School or possibly Benny Benson. I'm not so sure yet but I would really like to go out to Chugiak this coming year. I've just had a really great time out there. Eagle River is so nice and small that I got used to it and it's more close to all the mountains and the trees. It gets me away from the city a lot but the city isn't so bad either. 

I love living in Alaska, everything here is so beautiful. I really love going camping and fishing. When winter gets here, I always want to be on a snow machine. I've never been skiing or snow boarding, but I will soon, hopefully. Paint balling is fun during both seasons, I like it more in the winter cause you have more protection cause of the cold, but the paintballs are more harder during the winter.

When I feel the need of a break from nature, I really like music. I listen to almost anything but country, especially. I dislike a lot of the new country. My favorite genre has to be hip-hop, pop, alternative, rock, metal and R&B. I really enjoy art, love to watercolor. I like to just doodle a lot too. I want to become a professional tattoo artist and a professional hairstylist, I also like being in the salon area at the King Career Center. I enjoy doing hair and make-up. 

I'm really enjoying Write Alaska a lot so far. I thought it wasn't going be this much fun, but I'm really excited for more of the adventures to come.
