Day 5: Downtown Tour and Biking the Coastal Trail

Today was a nice, and a beautiful day. I got here late, like I always do, I went to the class and everyone was there. After class we had a lunch before we left. After that we started to get ready and loaded into the bus. Kids were talking so loud, chilling with each other and laughing. First we went to the Ghost Tour downtown. We got out of the bus and started to walk to where we should go. While we were walking, I was taking pictures, and when I looked at the other side across the road, I saw an old man wearing a black suit and black hat with some kind of microphone on his ear. He came and started to tell us about the Anchorage Hotel downtown.

While the old man was talking, I was taking pictures, but mostly I didn't hear other things that the old man was talking about. But when he started to talk about the ghost in the hotel, then I stopped taking pictures and focused on what he was telling about the kids that haunted the hotel, and the earthquake that happened there on 4th Avenue. The Ghost Tour was alright, kids were paying attention, I guess, but some kids were just looking around and some are chilling with others. After the Ghost Tour, then we started to walk to Elderberry Park. While we were headed there, we stopped at a hotel to use the restroom. We all went inside, it was nice and beautiful. After that we continued walk to the park again, which is my.....weakness.

After the Ghost Tour, we went to a random park down the street from where the bike place was. We ate lunch at the park, talked, and some people went to play on the playground, because who doesn't like to feel like a kid again? They called us up to get our magical bikes we would be riding on for 10 miles. Everyone was telling me to get the smallest bike there that was for a 3 year old -_- I'm GROWN. Brooke was pretty excited to go biking with her cute helmet on. Joseph didn't go on the bike ride because he was scared to fall. I thought it was pretty funny hahaha. We started biking, me and Chantz were separated from Kili n' Friends, so we tried to catch up. Let me just tell you now, it was a VERY bad day to wear white shorts... The mud puddles made me look like I pooped my pants, but I really didn't... I was pretty upset. A mosquito bit my leg too- it was not cool.

I think bugs just hate me. While everyone was biking we would make multiple stops to catch our breath and rest our legs. Before a big downhill, everyone stopped to wait for everyone else. That big hill was sketchy. I almost fell and people were behind me so I would've probably died... Or just simply broken my legs or arms, but that's not good neither. The last big uphill was SO tiring. Me and BooBoo (Kili), saw that big hill and we knew we weren't about to bike up it. So we got off and started walking with Chase and JayJay. I could feel the burn hardcore. After the hill we made it to Kincaid and waited for everyone to arrive. Eventually everyone did and got on the bus, and headed back. It was a beautiful adventure and a good work out!
