Hey my name is Hekili, but I go by Kili because no one can say the first two letters right. I first started doing this program last year. It was very fun, exciting, long, tiring, and amazing. Especially because I had all my friends with me. They were my older brother Koa, friends Hilo, Brandon, Ane, and Rob. Together we were unstoppable! This year has begun with a mildly good hike. Today I feel sore a lot!!! Although, I am able to deal with the pain and get over it. What I'm looking forward to this year? The bike ride from downtown all the way to Kincaid Park for a B.B.Q. The ride itself seems so far away, but only just next week. I did this program because the staff love me. They practically worship me. especially our teacher Ben. Also, so that I can get ahead of my peers in school. That way I will be able to take it easy in second semester before graduation. This sounds to be an amazing plan. The summer school program has given me so much support the past 3 years. Such as giving their time to help me in apex classes, giving really great pep talks, and just being their for my education. Education in extremely important, because how will you move on and start a life without it? Some of my favorite activities to do are anything and everything that involves movement. I truly enjoy playing football, basketball, volleyball, and wrestling. These my favorite things to do. Also, I don't often get to treat myself because my father keeps me on lock. Which means, I can't do many things that will keep me out of shape for my sports. It has its ups and downs, but overall I'm really glad for his effort to keep me healthy. This year in summer school, I met my new friends. They are Chantz, Jasmine, and Janely. They're also in my newly founded crew. Also known as ''KILI AND FRIENDS''. We put in work. Were always having fun and getting to know each other. And I can't wait to get to know the rest of the class. This is ging to be the greatest summer ever ( technically, last year was the greatest summer ever, but .... we'll just not talk about it to spoil this summer).
