Arctic Valley Story

         Last week we went on a hiking trip to Arctic Valley.  That was my first time ever hiking before. At first I thought it would be an easy hike but it was more difficult than I thought.  I did not realize how more difficult it can be to hike a mountain or trail.  Although it was my first time hiking, it was actually quite a nice hike. At the top was a beautiful view of Eagle River.  The valley has some beautiful houses. The ground has a cool touch that feels nice as it was cooling your body. As you were resting you can hear the wonderful sound of birds chirping. Another noise was the wind. The wind had a really nice feeling. There really wasn't much of a taste when you got up to the top unless you ate some cranberries from the ground, which I did not do. The smell was nice. It smelled nice because I never really hiked before and how different it was. I enjoyed the hike and I hope I can go there again sometime later in the future.
